Service Description
This is a small face-to-face workshop (max 6 people), suitable for women who are in the pre- to post-menopause phase of life, looking for natural ways to ease their transition through the menopause years. You may be pre-menopause and wanting to learn strategies to boost your health in preparation, or you may be peri-to post menopause and struggling with various symptoms. We specifically focus on learning how to regulate the nervous system through breathing techniques and to use cold water immersion in conjunction with breathing to reduce stress and other symptoms and to boost general health and sleep. There will also be an opportunity to look at other lifestyle factors that will influence your menopause transition, such as diet, exercise and sleep routines. We can also talk about HRT. Probably most importantly, this workshop provides a supportive environment to share experiences, worries and solutions, as well as have some fun! No previous experience of cold water immersion is necessary as Marianne is a Cold Water Therapy Practitioner who will guide you safely through this part of the workshop. * Cold water immersion is not suitable if you have a serious heart or health condition or unregulated blood pressure.
